Do we love ourselves fully

It’s all about love. Do we love ourselves fully?

Are we constantly trying to change how do we look like and who we are in order the others to like us?

Have you ever asked yourselves why do we want so much to be beautiful? And what is beautiful after all?

Have you ever tried everything, diet, make-up, new fashion clothes, everything, just to impress someone?

Have you ever said to yourself – I’m not slim enough, I’m not beautiful enough even I’m ugly and stupid?

For what is worth you’re not alone, I would say this is a challenge most people in this crazy world face. And it can be so frustrating. Maybe, like others, you are struggling with feeling fit and beautiful. Or facing an uphill battle trying not to constantly compare yourselves with the others around you.

You have my sympathies, my friend. I know what an absolute pain it can be. It’s about this annoying little voice, always talking, judging us, criticizing us, abusing us.

And this voice is not anywhere else but inside of our heads. The biggest critic of them all is our little Mind, our ever comparing Ego.

To be the best, to be first, the most wanted, the most beautiful so we can have all the adoration, all the attention.

Why is that and what do we want after all? So what is going on? Listen to me,

All human beings want one thing and it is to be loved.

The problem here is that we want love from the outside because we are having a huge hole inside of us…

We are searching for all of this because our Ego needs feeding. It always reminds us of how much we are not good enough. There is always someone better, faster or stronger. Here is this magazine, this movie, this gorgeous Instagram profile, look at these muscled bodies, how beautiful, no fat, no belly, tanned, perfect. Look at the new Hero Movies Batman, Aquaman, Captain America there is not even one hero without a six-pack. Maybe you are thinking ”that’s the only one thing women like, women are attracted to”. Maybe that will make me happy having the six-pack, looking like Brad Pitt in Troy and winning the hearts of a thousand girls.

Of course, it is just an example. What I’m noticing is before 10-20 years it was a huge pressure on how women should look like to fit in the “beautiful group” but the latest years there is this Fitness revolution and I see people literally obsessed so much with their bodies, training regimes, going to extremes only to be bigger, to have bigger biceps, to look better.

It’s interesting how suddenly we, as a community decided that bigger is better and more beautiful than a normal evenly developed physique. I hope you don’t get me wrong, I’m talking about extremes here. The Gym, the exercises are beneficial and necessary for the normal functioning of the human body but the balance is what is important and also what is hiding behind our efforts.

What is the thing that moves us? Is it because we want to take better care of our human bodies, keeping them healthy, energized, toned or because we don’t like ourselves, we don’t accept ourselves, we created false body icons and we think that’s the only path for happiness.

Are we exercising because we have a lack of confidence and love of ourselves the way we are now? Is it because we hate the way we look? Is it because we think that no one likes us, just the way we don’t like ourselves.

Self-hate can cause us so many troubles and leads us to dangerous eating disorders like bulimia nervosa, anorexia. And it’s a difficult and soul torturing battle. I know because I have been there… but I will tell you this story another time.

Ok, now what?

You get a feeling that you know what is going on, right – but what do you do next?

Listen carefully what I discovered during my journey it might help you find some answers…

First of all, we are all enough. Just the way we are, we are divine energy – How could we not be enough?

Everything else fashion, what different people accept as beautiful, ugly, normal, not normal is absolutely subjective and based on every person’s own reality. And basing our happiness on the outside physical results will never last. If we are empty from the inside, if we are not gentle to ourselves, we don’t accept every imperfection, every individuality, embrace our true nature nothing ever will be enough. Not the body we will sculpture eventually, not the money, houses we will have.

We need to come from the place of love.

Love is the most powerful driving force in the Universe.

I’m not saying the path would be easy but it would be meaningful. You would enjoy the getting there part just like having and achieving the results.

And when we finally see that,

”The comparison is a thief of joy” – David Key

then we will be happy just to be a better version of ourselves. Free from the need of the outside proof. We will accept our body going through different stages and shapes and continue enjoying every minute regardless of how exactly we look like and who likes us or not. Then this pressure and torture whether or not to eat a piece of yummy cake when you want will disappear.

You will be exactly who you are who you have always been and you will shine with all your awesomeness and colours.

Just remember …

we are all diamonds,

we are created from this formless spiritual energy like everything in this Earth.

When we grow up all the concepts, beliefs and theories we got first from our parents then school, culture, country, religion become layers and layers covering our diamond nature and preventing it to shine. But it is always there, it can’t be destroyed.

By connecting to your soul, listening to the voice of wisdom instead of Ego, the questions: Am I good enough, am I beautiful enough will receive the correct answer. And by filling yourself up with this divine love this power inside of you, you will no longer crave for attention, adoration or food. You will feel whole and enough. And the right answer how to take better care of your physical body will unfold in front of your very eyes. The motivation you seek will never leave you because it has always been there in the first place.

Take this stuff on board, my friend. Trust me you will be glad you did.

With that said farewell lovely people – exercise, move, dance, enjoy, love every aspect of your lives with open minds and hearts.

That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed it.

Speak to you very soon.

Yours,

Dimmi
